I built this page for several reasons; to showcase who I am and what I can bring to the right organization as I persue my next career challenge; to display what I and my team of colleagues can do for small business, non-profits and companies who need a boost from a team of high skilled business leaders; and lastly, this is a resource for my students and others interested in becoming safer and better skilled motorcycle riders.

The "Who am I..."

I'm an operator. I thrive in challenging environments that require tenacity and ingenuity in winning results. I have driven profitable growth and introduced innovation with each assignment in my career. With a history that includes working for and partnering with some highly regarded and well known organizations, I bring a wealth of experience and success to the game;

Who I've Worked With

I've had the pleasure of working with and learning from some of the very best organizations in their respective industries.  Companies like Milliken & Company, one of the largest and oldest privately held textile companies in the world; ARAMARK, the leader in providing facilities management, food, refreshment services and uniform services to the public and private sector alike; Owens Corning, a well regarded manufacturer of fiberglass and technical fabrics...an undisputed world class innovation leader.  My contributions to these organziations are listed on my background page and are an example of what I can bring to your organization!

The "Why You Should Care.."

If you're viewing this page to better understand how I can help your organization, here are a few points:

• Bottom Line...and Top line I develop consistent, efficient organizations.  I ask "why?" often to ensure processes are delivering as expected. Beyond that however, I have a noted, successful background as a business development professional. I always look for ways to grow top line contribution and know how to do it.
• Customer-Centric It cannot be repeated enough; Our customers are our lifeblood. I'm big on processes that are designed to listen to what our customers are saying so we know what we're doing right and what we're missing. Beyond that, it's important to formally report to and remind our customers of the value we bring.  In other words; we can't capture the "value" if our customers forget what that value is.
• Complex Challenges? Let's Jump In!  Throughout my career, I have asked for and have been given some of the most difficult assignments out there.  Whether it be a customer retention issue, high expectation client, or tough selling situation, I know how to formulate a plan that produces wins for my customers, my organization and investors.
• Decisions, Decisions I'm not paralyzed by the need of "over analyzing". I quickly assess the situation, review all relevant, available intel, and make the best decision I can within the constraints of the respective challenges.  I don't shoot from the hip, nor do I like to leave critical moves un-made.

• Leadership Philosophy. It's simple really; the best leaders listen to their teams to better understand the business landscape and how to succeed.  I've found often that the answers lie within my own organization.  I only have to build an environment where people are encouraged to try and to be creative.  I'm not a micro manager, rather I set expectations, offer guidance and insight...and get out of the way. It works...

• There is no "I" in Team. Sure, most people say it, but the reality is that too much time is spent playing politics and one-upmanship in business today.  My goal is to develop the best team and a winning strategy around that team.  We win as a team...but when we fail (which isn't often), that's my responsibility.
